SJJA Peregian is part of Australia’s fastest-growing martial arts academy. Founded by multiple-time World Champion Bruno Alves, SJJA delivers world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) training for kids, teens and adults.

WHAT IS BJJ?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art. It is widely regarded as one of the most practical forms of self-defence and is a core discipline in mixed martial arts (MMA). Suitable for kids and adults alike, BJJ offers an effective alternative or complement to striking-based martial arts such as karate or taekwondo.
